FAQs for your individual hourly rates

As a service provider on the Helpling platform, you decide how much a client pays for one hour of your cleaning. This is why you can adapt your hourly rate in your online profile under “My Prices”. Try it out and change your hourly rate for one off or recurring bookings in the first box in 10c steps. The Helpling Support Team is here to help if you have any further questions.

You can find the section “My Prices” in your online profile. To change your hourly payouts, please follow this link:

In general, you can decide freely and independently about this. If you would like any help with that, Helpling will be happy to help you in setting your rate. Additionally, you can look at the average rates of other cleaners in your area. You can find this information in your online profile in the “My Prices” section.

This could be due to clients in your area being used to different prices. We recommend having a look at your profile and check out the board for more booking offers! There you’ll find additional offers, but with a lower hourly rate than yours. You can accept any of these, but it’s entirely up to you!

Your new hourly rate applies only to all new clients who wish to book either a one-off or recurring booking. For your existing clients, the initial rate will stay the same, so that your existing relationships are not affected by your new rate.

You can change or adjust your rate at any time.

Different factors can play a role when setting a higher rate. Tests have shown that many clients link a higher price to higher cleaning quality, punctuality and reliability. The following questions might help you when deciding to set a higher rate. How many ratings do I have? Do I accept bookings at the weekend, early in the morning or late in the evening? Am I happy to travel to bookings? At the end of the day, it’s your decision to increase your rate or not.
